2023 Ticonderoga Alumni Awards Ceremony
The Alumni Awards Ceremony will be held Friday, July 28, 2023 from 5PM-7PM at the Best Western Plus Ticonderoga Inn and Suites.
Held annually on the last Friday in July, our Alumni Awards Ceremony honor Distinguished Alumni, Special Service, and Friends of Ticonderoga. This is a free event and the public are encouraged to attend. Nominations for these awards are accepted year round. Please see the “Awards” tab for information on each award and to find out how to nominate someone.
The awardees this year are:
Friends of Ticonderoga Schools -Tom and Marlene Stricker
Special Service award – Matt Courtright and Joanne Bartlett
Distinguished Alumni – James Murdock and Alan Densmore
Best Western – 5PM Reception; 6PM Presentation of Awards
2023 Ticonderoga Alumni Homecoming Weekend
The last weekend in July has been designated Alumni Homecoming Weekend. The Alumni Awards Ceremony and Alumni Golf Tournament will be held the last weekend in July annually.
2023 Ticonderoga Alumni Golf Tournament
Our annual golf tournament will be held at the Ticonderoga Country Club on Saturday, July 29, 2023 with an 8AM shotgun start.
This is a 18 hole, 4 person scramble. You do not need to be an alumni to play in this tournament.
Cost (includes greens fees, cart, lunch and prizes)
$110 – Non-Member of Ticonderoga Country Club
$75 – Member of Ticonderoga Country Club
Golfers are encouraged to contact the Pro Shop at 518-585-2801 ext. 2 to reserve a spot in the tournament for their team. Individuals that would like to play but do not have a 4 person team can still reserve a spot and will be placed on a team.

This is our primary fund raising event and is vital to sustaining our scholarship program.
The annual golf tournament is held the last Saturday in July.

The rain held off for the 15 teams who participated. Lunch was provided by Seymours and all gathered on the patio for awards.
Thanks to Paul Ingrey and Marty Loughlin for donations to Alumni for total Birdies/Eagles, and Long Drive. Thanks also to all of our hole sponsors and prize donors. Without all golfers and donors our tournament would not be a success.
